About Us

Our Story

Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes is a young but rapidly expanding Irish property development and investment management company. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver high quality projects across Ireland.

Our team of dedicated and experienced property professionals have a proven track record in both residential and commercial development and investment.

We approach each acquisition with innovative thinking and hands-on management. Through combining various disciplines, we guarantee success.

Acquisition of our first “Buy, renovate & flip” in Terenure.
2015-2017
We branched into the acquisition of multi-family units and commercial projects, along with further residential projects.
We moved into new home construction with the acquisition of a site for 35 units in Birr, Offaly.
2022
Acquisition of multiple sites with planning permission and commencement of construction.
- Baltinglass – 89 units with additional land for a further 25 units.
- Moate – 35 units with with additional land for 40 units.
- Cobh, Cork – 15 units.
2014
We had multiple residential acquisitions & renovations in Dublin 2, Dublin 7, Castleknock and Blackrock.
2018-2020
Acquisition of Homescape Holdings www.homescape.ie, Ireland's largest fire door distributor, based in Rathcoole.
2021
Acquisition of additional land in Birr for a further 40 units.

Meet the Team

Michael Heavey

Chairman

Fitzpatrick & Heavey founder, Michael Heavey has been involved in Irish entrepreneurship since 1980, and has a successful track record of investing in a number of industries including IT, distribution, manufacturing, real estate and construction.
Michael also serves on the board of several companies across Ireland, the UK, Netherlands and Spain.

Ciaran Fitzpatrick

Managing Director

Co-Founder and Managing Director, Ciaran Fitzpatrick established Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes having spent his early career working on construction projects across Ireland while also completing a degree in Engineering in 2006. Through forging strong links in the industry Ciaran has since grown Fitzpatrick & Heavey to be a leader in the property development sector. With a keen interest in construction related investments, along with his financial acumen, Ciaran has overseen the steady growth of our company.

Ciaran is also a specialist in property acquisition and has featured in a number of Ireland’s leading national papers.

David D'Alton

Director

David has been involved in house building since 1974 and was Managing Director of Abbey PLC’s house building division from 1988 to 1999. He has developed a number of large housing schemes including Tullyhall in Lucan (142 Units), Lanesborough in Finglas (410 Units) and The Belfry in Citywest (208 Units).

In 1999, David established Hollioake Ltd, a house building company which had an average output of 200 units per year.

In 2016, David established Maeda Homes Ltd. This company developed a number of significant residential sites in Dublin and the surrounding counties.

David joined the board of Directors in 2020 and oversees all new developments for Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes.

John Murray

Director

John is a qualified carpenter by trade and has been involved in large-scale residential developments throughout Ireland since 1995. John manages the day-to-day operations on site while ensuring quality is maintained to the highest standard and projects are delivered on time.

Stephen Mahon

Chief Financial Officer

Stephen Mahon joins Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes as the new Chief Financial Officer, bringing extensive experience from the banking and finance sector. Stephen is renowned for his expertise in financial strategy, risk management, and business relationship management. His appointment is pivotal to our mission to innovate and expand in real estate development, focusing on creating sustainable, high-quality homes and communities.

Karl Byrne

Architectural Technologist

Karl has over 20 years’ experience in planning, design and house building throughout Ireland. Karl focuses on the technical details of each new development along with co-ordinating various consultants including Architects and Engineers.

Fiona Egan

Financial Controller

Fiona has had a career spanning more than 25 years in finance. Fiona has worked in both the UK an Ireland in both legal and financial capacities. Her background spans industries such as food production, property management and construction. She now oversees all aspects of Financial Control for the business including accounting, financial planning and treasury.
