Complete Renovation of an 850 sq. ft house

Fitzpatrick Heavey Homes completed renovation works on an 850 sq ft house. This project consisted of a semi-detached house.

Approximately 8 years ago, the house was converted into 2 x one bedroom apartments. Due to current demands in the Dublin market, and a lack of quality homes for young professionals and families, it was decided that this property would be more suitable as a two bedroom house.

Solution: A full renovation of the property was carried out. This included the stripping out of all internal fixtures, fittings, and partition walls. 80mm of insulated slab was fitted on all external walls to increase the Building Energy Rating, and insulation was increased in the attic. The renovation works included an upgraded heating system and all walls were re-plastered. New bathroom and a  new fitted kitchen were installed, along with a new landscaped garden.
